How to enable elasticsearch audit logs in containers ES cluster (docker)

Could you please help me to enable audit logs in elastcisearch (dockerized cluster)?

ENV details

4 node cluster 1 node act like load balancing

I have already configured below values in elasticsearch.yml file . But not working
xpack.security.audit.enabled: true
xpack.security.audit.outputs: logfile
