I'm not familiar with Squid, but I think there are two ways to ingest Squid:

  1. Using Filebeat with the Squid module
  2. Using the Squid integration for Elastic Agent

You mention using an ingest pipeline. Are you looking to transform these logs somehow? With the above approaches you can use processors for either Filebeat or Elastic Agent in addition to an ingest pipeline. So there are a few options.
