How to Install multiple logstash on different computer?

all the filebeat client out put to multiple logstash,then all the logstash out put to one elasticsearch?

Use the following configuration in filebeat:

hosts: ["logstashserver1:5044", "logstashserver2:5045"]

In the logstash configuration you do

output {
                    elasticsearch {
                          hosts => ["http://LOGSTASH01:9200"]
                    }
    }

I set filebeat

 hosts: ["logstashserver1:5044", "logstashserver2:5044"]

logstash

output {
            if "heartbeat-index" in [tags] {
                    elasticsearch {
                          hosts => ["elasticsearch:9200"]
                    }
    }

then shutdown logstashserver1
now I don't get the data on kibana.
and in log file I can't find the error...

My mistake, you do not to need the the tag specified, forgot to remove it in my original post.

Try this (you may need to specify the index in the output depending what is applicable to you):

output {
                    elasticsearch {
                          hosts => ["elasticsearch:9200"]
                    }
    }

I set

output {

if [beatType] == "filebeat" {

  elasticsearch {
        hosts => ["172.19.0.244:9200"]
    index => "filebeat-%{+YYYY.MM.dd}"
    }
  stdout { codec => rubydebug }
}

}
"logstashserver2:5044"

thanks you,but I still not get data on logstashserver2

Lets see the config from server 2?

logstash

input {

        add_field => {"beatType" => "filebeat"}
         port => "5044"

}

filter {

    grok {
      match => {
            "message" =>  "%{SYSLOGBASE} %{GREEDYDATA:msg}"
           }
        }
    }

output {

if [beatType] == "filebeat" {

  elasticsearch {
        hosts => ["172.19.0.245:9200"]
    index => "filebeat-%{+YYYY.MM.dd}"
    }
  stdout { codec => rubydebug }
}

}

# ======================== Elasticsearch Configuration =========================
#
# NOTE: Elasticsearch comes with reasonable defaults for most settings.
# Before you set out to tweak and tune the configuration, make sure you
# understand what are you trying to accomplish and the consequences.
#
# The primary way of configuring a node is via this file. This template lists
# the most important settings you may want to configure for a production cluster.
#
# Please consult the documentation for further information on configuration options:
# https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/index.html
#
# ---------------------------------- Cluster -----------------------------------
#
# Use a descriptive name for your cluster:
#
cluster.name: my-elasticsearch
#
# ------------------------------------ Node ------------------------------------
#
# Use a descriptive name for the node:
#
node.name: node-1
node.master: false
node.data: true
#
# Add custom attributes to the node:
#
#node.attr.rack: r1
#
# ----------------------------------- Paths ------------------------------------
#
# Path to directory where to store the data (separate multiple locations by comma):
#
path.data: /home/elk/data
#
# Path to log files:
#
path.logs: /home/elk/log/
#
# ----------------------------------- Memory -----------------------------------
#
# Lock the memory on startup:
#
#bootstrap.memory_lock: true
#
# Make sure that the heap size is set to about half the memory available
# on the system and that the owner of the process is allowed to use this
# limit.
#
# Elasticsearch performs poorly when the system is swapping the memory.
#
# ---------------------------------- Network -----------------------------------
#
# Set the bind address to a specific IP (IPv4 or IPv6):
#
network.host: 172.19.0.245
#
# Set a custom port for HTTP:
#
http.port: 9200
#
# For more information, consult the network module documentation.
#
# --------------------------------- Discovery ----------------------------------
#
# Pass an initial list of hosts to perform discovery when new node is started:
# The default list of hosts is ["127.0.0.1", "[::1]"]
#
discovery.zen.ping.unicast.hosts: ["172.19.0.244", "172.19.0.245"]
#
# Prevent the "split brain" by configuring the majority of nodes (total number of master-eligible nodes / 2 + 1):
#
#discovery.zen.minimum_master_nodes:
#
# For more information, consult the zen discovery module documentation.
#
# ---------------------------------- Gateway -----------------------------------
#
# Block initial recovery after a full cluster restart until N nodes are started:
#
#gateway.recover_after_nodes: 3
#
# For more information, consult the gateway module documentation.
#
# ---------------------------------- Various -----------------------------------
#
# Require explicit names when deleting indices:
#
#action.destructive_requires_name: true

Looks correct. Filebeat config? Just the output section

###################### Filebeat Configuration Example #########################

# This file is an example configuration file highlighting only the most common
# options. The filebeat.reference.yml file from the same directory contains all the
# supported options with more comments. You can use it as a reference.
#
# You can find the full configuration reference here:
# https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/index.html

# For more available modules and options, please see the filebeat.reference.yml sample
# configuration file.

#=========================== Filebeat prospectors =============================

filebeat.prospectors:

# Each - is a prospector. Most options can be set at the prospector level, so
# you can use different prospectors for various configurations.
# Below are the prospector specific configurations.

- type: log

  # Change to true to enable this prospector configuration.
  enabled: true

  # Paths that should be crawled and fetched. Glob based paths.
  paths:
    - /var/log/*.log
    #- c:\programdata\elasticsearch\logs\*

  # Exclude lines. A list of regular expressions to match. It drops the lines that are
  # matching any regular expression from the list.
  #exclude_lines: ['^DBG']

  # Include lines. A list of regular expressions to match. It exports the lines that are
  # matching any regular expression from the list.
  #include_lines: ['^ERR', '^WARN']

  # Exclude files. A list of regular expressions to match. Filebeat drops the files that
  # are matching any regular expression from the list. By default, no files are dropped.
  #exclude_files: ['.gz$']

  # Optional additional fields. These fields can be freely picked
  # to add additional information to the crawled log files for filtering
  #fields:
  #  level: debug
  #  review: 1

  ### Multiline options

  # Mutiline can be used for log messages spanning multiple lines. This is common
  # for Java Stack Traces or C-Line Continuation

  # The regexp Pattern that has to be matched. The example pattern matches all lines starting with [
  #multiline.pattern: ^\[

  # Defines if the pattern set under pattern should be negated or not. Default is false.
  #multiline.negate: false

  # Match can be set to "after" or "before". It is used to define if lines should be append to a pattern
  # that was (not) matched before or after or as long as a pattern is not matched based on negate.
  # Note: After is the equivalent to previous and before is the equivalent to to next in Logstash
  #multiline.match: after

#============================== Dashboards =====================================
# These settings control loading the sample dashboards to the Kibana index. Loading

#============================== Kibana =====================================

# Starting with Beats version 6.0.0, the dashboards are loaded via the Kibana API.
# This requires a Kibana endpoint configuration.
setup.kibana:

#============================= Elastic Cloud ==================================

# These settings simplify using filebeat with the Elastic Cloud (https://cloud.elastic.co/).

#================================ Logging =====================================

# Sets log level. The default log level is info.
# Available log levels are: error, warning, info, debug

# To enable all selectors use ["*"]. Examples of other selectors are "beat",
# "publish", "service".
#logging.selectors: ["*"]

If you change the filebeat config order to look like this:

hosts: ["172.19.0.245:5044","172.19.0.244:5044"]

Does the second one now start to receive and the first one not?

the first one have receive log,but second one don't

Which IP address received it with the order reversed?

172.19.0.244:5044 logstash log have change
but
172.19.0.245:5044 logstash log do not change

So this tells you you must have a config error on the second server. Please ensure that the config on both are correct.

thanks you, I check it later.
