How to monitor JDK 1.6 apps :)

Hello folks,

I'm opening this topic to collect some ideas on how to monitor apps that are running on JDK 1.6 and integrate their APM data with the Elastic APM solution.

Have you guys ever faced this scenario and could share your experiences with us?

(I know it's an obsolete platform, but I'm looking for possible solutions that could be useful to keep track of, at least temporarily.)

Sorry, we don't support Java 6, there is a core instrumentation dependency that only works on 7+. No version of the agent ever supported 6. Further bad news is that the OpenTelemetry agent is 8+ so you can't even switch to that
