How to plot a graph excluding weekends

I've created a dashboard displaying charts for "AVG time taken for viewIssue".
selecting 'month to date' in the date range, line graph has a drop during the weekend time. But we want to plot a graph excluding weekends.
Please suggest me how to do it

I dont think there is a way to exclude weekends. even if you would filter your data to only get the mon-fri, chart will still show a drop on the weekend.
