How to show legend on Vega-lite visualizations

Hello, I would like to add the legend of the series I've been showing.
I have multiple layers, and I can't manage to show the legend.
Even after adding legend: {title:"File type"} it does not fail but is not shown either.

The website examples are incomplete and do not show the whole code.

It's very difficult to troubleshoot Vega visualizations without complete context. Is it possible to share what you've created so far?
