How to upgrade elasticsearch from 5.6.6 to 5.8

I have installed elasticsearch version 5.6.6 on my windows machine.
I wanted to know the steps to be taken to upgrade to version 5.8 in detail.
Could anyone please help me.

Sorry for the late reply.
I have gone through the link you have provided.
But I wanted to know how to upgrade a single node cluster without losing data from 5.5.3 to 5.6.16 version.
Please kindly help me.
