I'm trying to debug communication with an endpoint set up in Logstash using the http input plugin. I'd like to be able to see in the logstash log the raw request payload that logstash receives but I can't figure out how to do that. Any ideas?
Have you tried setting log.level in logstash.yml to debug or trace? If it doesn't work, I have no idea other than that.

yeah it was already on debug. and i get plenty of info about what the later stages of logstash event processing are doing, but never just a display of the http data received. very frustrating.
Is there no way of filtering?
