I am trying to connect to http://localhost:9200 in my browser and I am getting an error that says check the proxy or firewall. I am using windows 11

I am using windows 11 and google chrome.

I followed all the steps in the video above. It was working . Then I try again a few days later when I try to go http://localhost:9200. I even tried https://localhost:9200 and get the error below.

I turned off firewall in Norton.

Here is the exact error.

localhost refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Can someone please help me fix this?

Can you check Elasticsearch is running by looking at the logs it's generating? It looks like it has stopped, but that's an easy way to see.
