Import Cloudwatch Logs Into Elasticsearch ( not AWS Elasticsearch )

Hello,
My use case is to import Cloudwatch logs from AWS on to Elasticsearch Cluster. I do not have AWS provided Elasticsearch as Service.
The following only seem to work for cloudwatch metrics.

Do we have any other plugins that are readily available ?

I have researched. But I do not think there is any plugin available. Should I explore cloudwatch logs -> lambda -> logstash -> elasticsearch ?
