I need to find out our daily ingest rate

  1. how do you do this for Datastreams

  2. how do you do this for Indices

What Version are you on?

Unfortunately, not so easy? (should be easier)

You can use these commands 24 hours apart and subtract
or a week and subtract and divide by 7

GET _cat/indices

or

GET /_stats/store,docs
