Indexing performance on 0.8

Is anyone else seeing a massive slowdown while indexing on version 0.8?

I'm trying to reindex all of my data in order to upgrade from 0.7.1 to
0.8 and the transactions per second seems to have decreased by 80%.

I started an instance of version 0.8 on the same box that I'm using for
0.7.1, and am seeing about 80 objects being indexed every second.

Just to check, I started a reindexing process against 0.7.1 (running at
the same time) and with that I'm still getting 400 tps.

Any ideas?

thanks

This was my mistake - I wasn't comparing like with like. Turns out the
issue was the client box I was using to feed data to Elasticsearch.

Tried it on a better box, and all working as per normal
