Indices Restrictions

I have noticed my users can see all indices listed even though access has been restricted to those indices.

For example:

user X has role base access to indices X
user X cannot see the data in indices Y and Z however can see the indices exist.

Is there a why of locking this down, so the user X cannot see any other indices except that which it has Access to.

Can you provide the roles that you are using for these users and the API calls that show the indices exist?
