Install elasticsearch on the EBS attached volume

Hi,
I am trying to install elasticsearch on a fresh aws instance. My instance has an attached EBS volume along with the root drive. I would like to install elasticsearch on the EBS volume and also store all the data on the same. Is this possible? How do I do that?
