We are migrating our elasticsearch from 1.X to 2.X. We created new clusters and index the data on it. But when I use the HQ plugin to check the traffic I find that there are many more search queries. One index we had on ES1.X which had about 2 queries per second. But on ES2.X it has 500/s. Does anyone know where those queries come from and how to stop them? Thanks!
There is no such thing as an internal query, of this manner.
What other monitoring do you have in place?
We also installed Kibana and Marvel. Could this be the reason of so many extra search queries?
Yes that would be possible.
