hi ,
I've used multi-instance elastic but when I use the hostname I get this error

Elasticsearch.Net.ElasticsearchClientException: Failed to ping the specified node.. Call: unknown resource

But using IP in output elasticsearch - logstash working fine

I used this for multi instance->StaticConnectionPool

I don't know the NEST client, but if you could add the code you are using and the full error it will help those that know help you find a resolution
