Do Elastic APM server and the Java APM agent require a licensed Elasticsearch to run or can it be used without one?
I will be using Elastic Stack version 7.7.
Kibana version: 7.7
Elasticsearch version: 7.7
APM Server version: 7.7
APM Agent language and version: Java Agent 1.15
Browser version: Firefox
Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, deb, from source, etc.) and version: RPM
Fresh install or upgraded from other version? Fresh install

Some additional features like Service Maps and Machine Learning integration require a license though: https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions#product-4
