Is elasticsearch supported on docker?

The support matrix doesn't mention docker at all. However docker images of elasticsearch are provided, suggesting that running on docker might be supported. Do the various support contracts support running on docker? I know it works on docker, but I'm specifically asking if it is supported under a support contract. Are there any additional restrictions on this (e.g. does the container OS need to be one of the supported OSs from the support matrix?).

Hi Tim. Thanks for your question. Yes, if you have a support contract with Elastic running on Docker is supported. In order to be eligible for support, you must be using one of our official Docker images.
