Is kibana/elasticsearch authentication available for x-pack basic license?
I installed 6.2 stack with xpack. I was getting user roles management UI by default, until I enabled basic license. Going to kibana is no longer asking for user-creds and elasticsearch access became unsecured as well.
Is authentication not available in x-pack basic?
No it's not. It requires at least gold license.
