there was already a topic about which helm repository should be used Which helm repo? . It was recommended to use the new one https://github.com/elastic/helm-charts , but in the elasticsearch helm chart it is written "This functionality is in beta and is subject to change. The design and code is less mature than official GA features and is being provided as-is with no warranties. Beta features are not subject to the support SLA of official GA features.". So at the end is the new helm chart repository still in beta or not? Can I use the charts for my production environment?
Hi @Stancho. Thanks so much for reaching out. We are actively discussing ideal timing for GA of the charts. While we feel that the charts are mature from a technical standpoint, we want to make sure we're providing ample time and opportunity for any proposed use cases/usage scenarios which might require breaking changes to the charts to surface. We've also been working with the community maintainers to ensure that users have a good migration path from the soon-to-be deprecated community charts to the Elastic maintained charts.
