Is there a way to do a project transform in Vega-Lite?

Hi all,
I'm having difficult to transform the data in Vega-Lite, and saw a project transform in the Vega documentation that is not in Vega-Lite.
1- Is it possible to use, is there some workaround?
2- Can I use my Vega-Lite codes and just add a Vega transform in the middle of my code? Is it possible just declaring the Vega schema?
I was not expecting to learn Vega as it's a bit more verbose, and I'm having some rough time just learning Vega-Lite.

Are you able to post your spec and show what you are trying to transform? Being able to see your code/spec would be very helpful for this.

Possibly depending on what you need to do. I've use the calculate transform before to mimic what project does. Just not as clean.

No. You pick a schema and need to use that only.
