Is there any way of restricting access to Kibana based on IP address/subnets?

Hi all,
I know you can restrict access to Elasticsearch nodes using IP filtering. But I believe this does not restrict access to Kibana. Is there a similar mechanism to IP filters for Kibana?

The end result we are looking for is to allow access on port 5601 to hosts located on certain subnets and deny all other connectivity as a layer of security (and then apply other security measures).

Thanks
Neil

There's not for Kibana no. I would encourage you to create a Feature Request for this in GitHub though!

You could put kibana behind a reverse proxy like Nginx where u can do filtering.

Thanks Mark, both for the welcome and the comments. Much appreciated.

Thanks Alex. Appreciate the suggestion
