Is upload csv menu deprecated in rc1?
It was removed as we felt that the functionality wasn't yet at a level we were comfy with for our GA release quality.
It will definitely be making a comeback, we will resolve some of the outstanding issues and re-release it in the near future

I prefer using logstash since you have more power to manipulate though.
