ISM policy for the AWS ES domain

Hi Team,

I am using AWS ES domain of version 7.7. would like to create and apply a index management policy to delete the logs older than 30 days.

so, for this i have created a policy and then applied the existing indices to the policy. but if tomorrow new indices came ,it is not applying to the policy.

is there any way to create a index pattern like ( samplelogs-*) to apply to the policy

We don't support this service here.
We do have an official ILM feature which is available in our official service.

Did you look at Cloud by Elastic, also available if needed from AWS Marketplace ?

Cloud by elastic is one way to have access to all features, all managed by us. Think about what is there yet like Security, Monitoring, Reporting, SQL, Canvas, Maps UI, Alerting and built-in solutions named Observability, Security, Enterprise Search and what is coming next :slight_smile: ...

AWS ES doesn't support ILM at all sorry to say.
