Issue while restoring

HI Team,

I am facing small issue while restoring. If any indice is not there in snapshot but that indice is present on present system. i can see that indice after restoration also. Before restoring i am closing all open indices..

Do you reopen the indices after the snapshot is restored?

No its automatically opening not manually.

That won't happen, so perhaps you are restoring them?

I am restoring the snapshot from one to another..

I get that, but perhaps you are closing these indices, then restoring them again, which is why they are appearing as open.

But how can we over write the closed index while restoring?
