Issues when running 8 clients on single machine

Hi there,

I run into issues while running 8 clients + 1 data node on a single machine
(Macbook Pro 16GB RAM). I get pretty weird JVM errors.

[thread 167427 also had an error]

A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x000002018b9d8c29, pid=10278, tid=167171

JRE version: 7.0_21-b12

Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (23.21-b01 mixed mode

bsd-amd64 compressed oops)

Problematic frame:

C 0x000002018b9d8c29

Failed to write core dump. [thread 167427 also had an error]

An error report file with more information is saved as:

/Library/WebServer/Documents/CloudPelican/trunk/backend/hs_err_pid10278.log
[error occurred during error repo
[thread 168195 also had an error]
[thread 168451 also had an error]
[thread 168707 also had an error]
[thread 169219 also had an error]
[thread 169731 also had an error]

Is this a known issue?

I quickly compiled against Java 6 which doesn't cause any problems. Is a
feasible workaround for now, but maybe this is something useful to debug.

If you still have the stack traces of the threads in
hs_err_pid10278.log, you should consider to post it for analysis (or to
bother Oracle with it).
