Issues with Disabling shield

Hi All,

I was just trialling shield and then disabled it as I had issues with
using Java Client API with authentication.

Basically I used the plugin remove command to disable shield. After
that I am not able to query the indices or login to kibana.

Is there anything else I have to do for disabling authentication.

Thanks,
Deepak Subhramanian

Just to confirm, you used bin/plugin -r shield? If so, then it should
have removed Shield.

Can you check to make sure that $ES_HOME/plugins/shield directory only
contains configuration files and no jar files.
