Kibana 4.x Startup on Linux

So Kibana 4.x is out now (yay)

But it's an executable application (executed by running "bash /data/kibana/bin/kibana" in my case)

I'm not a linux guy at heart, but there must be a way that we can get this to run at logon so that if the box is rebooted it will auto run? I've tried adding it to the rc.local file but had no luck :frowning:

How are other people auto launching Kibana 4.x??

Which Linux distribution?

Centos 7

Have a look at https://scottlinux.com/2014/12/08/how-to-create-a-systemd-service-in-linux-centos-7/. You should be able to reuse that example with just a few changes.
