Kibana cant find Filebeat index Pattern

Hello There,

i installed ELK, the Beats etc. with follow Guide:

But Kibana dont see the Filebeat to create an index pattern.

I tryed my best, but i still cant find a way to fix this. Can you please help me, guys?

It mentions you have 17 other indices in your cluster, what are the names of those?

11 Winlogbeats and 6 Packetbeats.

are there any processed logs (by filebeat) ?

Yeah, two like this:

can you share your filebeat configuration? or a snippet where inputs and processors are generated?

Do you mean this?

yes thank you.
could you please format it

thank you

Yes, sorry.

this looks correct, can you also share content of filebeat.yml so we can see how output is configured?

Of course:

# This file is an example configuration file highlighting only the most common
# options. The filebeat.reference.yml file from the same directory contains all the
# supported options with more comments. You can use it as a reference.

why do you have output to Elasticsearch defined twice?

I dont know. I never edited this files.
Maybe a bug?

try to modify it in a way that it will be defined only once, and check/share the logs.
maybe logs are more descriptive about the problem.

Like this?

two things comes to mind.
first one is disabled input for var/logs
second one is indentation in this snippet

setup.kibana:
host: "http://127.0.0.1:5601"

should be

setup.kibana:
    host: "http://127.0.0.1:5601"

I'm sorry, but i cant see the difference between the setup.kibana examples.

No different in the setup.kibana example. In YAML, sequences of spaces, tabs, and carriage return characters are folded into a single space during parse
