Kibana (current version) is not showing string types in visualisation

For some reason I am not able to see my string types for x-axis (line or bar graphs). I see them in discover.
Reloaded multiple times, not helping. Am I missing anything here?
Sample json - I would like to have a break down by IternationName

I tried a simple string field for X-axis Line chart, and I do see it displayed .

Can you make sure you are picking the string field as an option in the dropdown.
