Hey everyone.
I have installed Logstash, Elasticsearch and Kibana 3 successfully, I can
view the Kibana and see that all the logs are coming in. However when I
ask a member on my team to view Kibana he see this "Error Could not contact
Elasticsearch at http:/address:9200. Please ensure that Elasticsearch is
reachable from your system. " (Please find image attached).
My understanding was that Kibana was the one to query Elasticsearch. Why
does the user need access to port 9200? Is there anyway around this issue
with out opening the port up?
Regards,
Jonathan
