Hi there, as a new user to Kibana I am very impressed.
Is there a way to narrow the columns width (like excel - sorry) ?
So in the pic below the FIID is only 4 characters wide but displays as 20 ish

Unfortunately options are limited ATM. We're tracking issues at https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/1896 and https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/737.
The only option now is to use set the shortDots option in advanced settings. It'll truncate the field names headx.crd.fiid.byte -> h.c.f.byte
