I'm using a simple data table to display a list of clients and dropped calls. The visualization originally was sorted by metric field, but when I added it to a dashboard, I wanted the clients to match up. One visualization let me change the field to client and worked fine. This one continues to sort based on the metric even after I deleted the bucket and started over.
What version of Kibana are you running? Are you able to reproduce this consistently?
