Visualization won't sort

This seems like a very simple thing but I'm stumped.

I have a simple Kibana visualization with a count and an average and I can't get it to sort by the average. I've tried rebuilding it and recreating it with no luck. Is there a limit on the number of columns that can sort within a visualization?

Hmm, are you just doing a data table visualization? You can click on the column header to sort by the metric you wish.

Yes, that is what I am doing but when I click on the column header to sort it isn't working. I've been told it works intermittently, but I haven't been able to get it to function at all. I also haven't heard that any other aggregation is having issues.
