Can you please tell what can be the impact of deleting the .kibana
and .kibana_task_manager_1
indices. What things they hold?
They contain all of your Kibana configuration - visualizations, dashboards, saved searches, spaces, ...

Correct - you can export everything you want to keep before deleting it, then re-importing it once Kibana initialized a new .kibana
index.
However, there's normally no need to do so. I'm not advicing you to delete the .kibana
index every time you restart Kibana / Elasticsearch. This was just necessary this one time because you entered an invalid state on a fresh installation. Now you got a consistent .kibana
index and everything should work just fine - also if you restart or even upgrade your Kibana/Elasticsearch stack.
