Kibana Transform_Vis plugin for 8.x

Hi everybody,

We have an extensive usage of the transform_viz plugin firstly released by PhaedrusTheGreek and then maintained by [gwintzer] (GitHub - gwintzer/transform_vis: Transform Visualization for Kibana).

Has anyone worked on migrating to Kibana 8? or is thinking of doing so?

By the way, we pushed for this plugin to be added in kibana product, it's really an enabler because you can simply integrate JS visualisation not available in the core product and add on-the-fly data transformation in the visualization it-self... but no positive feedback :frowning:

This plugin is very easy to use for making specific visualizations. I confirm this need to update this plugin for version 8 of kibana.

yes we need it, Vega is not enough and can be painful to use

Very little sample of visualizations we do in kibana so easily with this plugin which is a must have for us .
