Kibana Visualization date_histogram weekly start day: Sunday (Start of Week) in Dashboard

I want weekly date_histogram function to start on Sunday in Kibana dashboards, but they currently start on Monday (ISO week). I’m using Kibana Lens with Elasticsearch 9.0.4. I’ve tried adjusting dateFormat:dow settings to Sunday and dateFormat:tz to Zulu (because my raw data value was 2025-10-05T14:14:54Z), but it still aggregates from Mon to Sun instead of Sun to Sat.

I did read some similar topics, but they did not talk about the visualization/lens charts, just the API approach. :frowning:

Indeed, there is already a report for this issue

The last comment suggests a workaround to have an `offest` applied

the only way to achieve what we need using {"offset": "-1d"} in the Advanced → JSON input)

Thanks a lot.

I’ve attempted to choose the legacy option referenced in the issue. It works... but only partially.

It can only fix the calculation result, and does not update the axis accordingly (the axis still shows Monday).

Waiting for the official feature.
