Kibana VM Specs

Hi,

Im new to ELK and I want to setup Kibana instance. I would like to know the recommended specs for setting up kibana. I found specs for Elasticsearch, but unable to get any recommendations for Logstash and Kibana. The requirement is to setup at least 36 Kibana dashboards serving different customers, with SIEM plugin active with alerts and at least 15 users logged in at a time. I would really appreciate if anyone can help to provide the recommendations.

Hi,
I can't recall ever seeing hardware requirements for Kibana in a VM. Starting with version 6.0.0, Kibana only supports 64 bit operating systems and Packages of Kibana are provided for and tested against Linux, Darwin, and Windows. I found something interesting though which might be interesting to you. https://www.elastic.co/blog/found-sizing-elasticsearch this blog talks about sizing and scaling ES.
