can anyone please let me know, Is kNN search supports elasticsearch7.17?

Unfortunately kNN search is not supported for 7.17 Elasticsearch. Is there a possibility for you to upgrade to the recent version?

@Ekta I'm sure it's a factor on your mind - but vector / kNN search is going to be best on the latest versions with a lot of performance improvements. An example: Making Elasticsearch and Lucene the best vector database: up to 8x faster and 32x efficient — Elastic Search Labs

I really highly recommend that you upgrade to 8.14 to leverage the performance improvements that have happened in the 8.x series like Artem recommended in his response.
