Langdetect aggregations?

Hello,

I've been trying to use Langdetect to detect the language of individual fields (or of the whole document) and aggregate the detected languages in order to search only for specific languages within our index.

However, I can't seem to be able to aggregate the Langdetect field using any of the examples presented on the github page as well as custom mappings.

Does anyone use Langdetect and have any success with Aggregations on 5.4.0 ?

Yes, I think it is not possible to use aggregation because of the custom field type. I will look into the issue. See https://github.com/jprante/elasticsearch-langdetect/issues/70
