Load and Performance of Elastic

We are having single node architecture with 50 GB of physical space and 10 GB ram. We are looking to store around 90 Million documents spread across multiple index in the free version of Elastic search.

Can Elastic search handle than much load or should we opt for cloud or pls share your experience in terms of handling performance and load this much

Cloud would remove the overhead of managing, plus you then get access to a heap of other features.

However, depending on the size of the data and the queries that you are doing, it should cope.
