As Apache Logging Services has stopped supporting the Log4j 1.x version, I would like to know if Elasticsearch is going to uptake the Log4j 2.x and if so, in which release it would be available. And if you are not planning to upgrade in near future, how would the SV issues that might occur in the 1.x version gets addressed?
Quoting from the Apache log4j 1.2 website "On August 5, 2015 the Logging Services Project Management Committee announced that Log4j 1.x had reached end of life. For complete text of the announcement please see the Apache Blog. Users of Log4j 1 are recommended to upgrade to Apache Log4j 2"
