Hello,

Hope everyone is doing well
I installed ELK on a Debian recently and I want Logstash to receive logs from another machine (windows) that is in the same network. Can I achieve that without using Filebeat?

Can I configure this in the Logstash’s conf file to give Logstash the access and path of the other computer to get the logs?

What should I write in the path part of the config file?

If you can mount a shared directory(for instance CIFS client), you should be able and use the file input plugin.
