Logstash yum repo certificate validity issue

I am trying to install logstash with yum, as per instructions I am trying to pull repo certificates with "rpm --import https://artifacts.elastic.co/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch", however this command gives me
curl: (60) Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized.

please suggestion a solution to this problem.
