Mean support in kibana4.x

Hi All

I worked on kibana 3 it has means support there but coming to kibana 4 we have lack of functions that kibana 3 supporting that is mean,variance etc.. can these possible in kibana 4 is there any other way to achieve in kibana 4 please suggest me.

The "Average" and "Standard Deviation" metrics does not achieve your required functionality ?

Thank you for the reply .I found in kibana 4 Average function is available but standard deviation not available can we achieve mean using script fields in kibana 4 can you suggest me how we can achieve it.

How is your mean requirements different from using the average ? I was under the impression the "Average" metric is a mean-average.

As far as I know Standard Deviation has been available since 4.0. I think however its only available in line charts.
