Measuring traffic to Nodes?

Can you provide some advice on measuring incoming http traffic to ES nodes? I'm curious to know if specific servers/nodes in my cluster are receiving more traffic than others. I looked at the nodes stats but nothing really jumped out at me. Is that something ElasticSearch exposes or is it recommended to use other methods to get this information (perhaps netstat, e.g. tcpdump?). We're using LogStash to index our documents so perhaps there is something within Logstash that would shed light on this as well? Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks in advance.
