Metricbeat output hosts (solved)

Hi All,

Just a quick question. For logstash it is better to use your elasticsearch client nodes as output. But how is this for metricbeat? OUtput to ALL of my nodes or also only to the client nodes? (For the record, my client nodes don't contain data)

client nodes being mostly an Elasticsearch concept, the same principles as for other ingesters (e.g. Logstash) do apply, do apply for metricbeat as well. Using client nodes, the distribution of events is done by the client nodes, such that the data nodes are free to use it's resources for other tasks.
