Modifying the stylesheets

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a way to modify the look for kibana 7.8, I'm working on the development mode of kibana so I can modify the codebase but it seems that there is no longer an intuitive way to modify the style sheets directly, which is what I did in kibana 6.x.

Is there a way to develop a plugin to overwrite the stylesheets or something along those lines?

Hi Marko,

We have an issue tracking this enhancement request.

Until that issue has been resolved I think it would be very difficult to overwrite the stylesheets of Kibana.

That's unfortunate, is there a way to at least change the icons?

Primarily I'm interested into replacing the loading svg
