Monitoring Metricbeat On Kibana

Hi all,

I use windows server 2019 to monitor my laptop's data system, but after I do the .\metricbeat setup, after Index setup finished. Loading dashboards (Kibana must be running and reachable) Loaded dashboards I check on the kibana windows server 2019 it turns out that the kibana windows server 2019 only displays the hostname for my laptop, not the data system that I want see.

Anyone can help me?

Did you do this step for windows

Hi @stephenb

yeah i already follow step for windows, but i don't know why, still can't show up on kibana windows server 2019

output elasticsearch and kibana endpoint are the same in kibana windows server 2019

this command from my laptop to kibana windows server 2019

PS C:\Program Files\Metricbeat> .\metricbeat setup
Index setup finished.
Loading dashboards (Kibana must be running and reachable)
Loaded dashboards

This is from Kibana Windows Server 2019 showing my laptop hostname but not data system show up.

do i miss some configuration?

Anyone can help me?
My system data from laptop to kibana still not showing up, but the hostname on KQL kibana windows server 2019 show up

What Happens if you Clear this out and hit refresh

Also How Many host show up on the System Overview?

What happens if you expand the time picker to the last 24 Hours?

Hi @stephenb
thanks for the reply

show like this, but i think kibana show system data windows server 2019, not my laptop

showing 1 host

still same, just 1 host showing up

do i have to create node, cluster name from my laptop same as in windows server 2019?
or just make same configuration metricbeat.yml same as in windows server 2019?
