Hi

Elastic & kibana 6.6.1, Centos 7.6

I have noticed that node_id is showing this ID, not the node name I have specified in elastisearch.yml config file.

I do remember that few releases back that there was this user specified node name, but not sure which version it was.

Perhaps this is a feature, I do not know, just in my opinion the user specified node name looks nicer.

You've indeed uncovered a regression that was introduced in 6.6.0. I've reported the bug here: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/32789.
